Join summer volunteer program 2012 and increase self-esteem and confidence. The summer program provides you a greater understanding of others by getting involved in volunteer work with Sankalp. This is three week long program with combination of travel to most beautiful parts of the country and volunteering in one of the heritage city of India.

As a volunteer you will be working with the local communities, helping them hand to hand for the upliftment of children of the downtrodden society. The volunteer work will be involved with Street Children Education program or English Teaching in Govt. primary school.

The last week of the program will take you to visit Holy city Pushkar, most beautiful building of the world Taj Mahal in Agra, Golden Temple (Amritsar), Dharamshala, McLeodGanj and last 3 days Himalayan trekking adventure.

Day 01: SAT - Arrival in India
Day 02: SUN - To Jaipur…Sheer Symphony in pink
Day 03- 07: MON to FRI - Volunteer Work

2nd Week (SAT-FRI)
Day 01: SAT - Free
Day 02: SUN - To Pushkar…Feast of colors
Day 03- 07:  MON to FRI - Volunteer Work

3rd Week (SAT-FRI)
Day 01: SAT - Agra… City of Taj Mahal
Day 02: SUN - To Amritsar… City of Golden Temple
Day 03: MON - Amritsar sightseeing
Day 04: TUE - To Dharamshala… Dalai Lama’s Home Town
Day 05: WED - Himalayan Trekking – Day 1
Day 06: THU - Himalayan Trekking – Day 2
Day 07: FRI - Himalayan Trekking – Day 3 
Next day drop-off to Delhi airport around 10:00am (Saturday, early morning)

Age Limit: Participants on the program may be minimum 16 years old. Volunteer Work Location: Jaipur Volunteer Work Options: English Teaching • Street Children Education Program Start & End dates: 30th June - 21st July (Saturday) – Delhi airport drop-off 13thJuly - 04th August (Saturday) – Delhi airport drop-off 27thJuly - 18th August (Saturday) – Delhi airport drop-off Application Fee: All programs draw a application fee of USD $210 on top of the Program Fee. The application fee secures your place on the program.
